There was a collective smile when the avenue came to life last spring - the colorful tulips and Kwansan cherry trees were a sign of hope after a long and uncertain winter. Each season a new planting on the avenue provides a visual reminder that time marches forever forward - the spring tulips will give way to the summer begonias which will be followed in the fall by chrysanthemums. And, public art returns to the avenue in March. Read about the latest exhibition here.
Stay safe and reach out to us via email with any questions (or guesses about the tulip color!).

The Fund for Park Avenue is the NYC non-profit organization responsible for planting and maintaining the trees and flowers on the Park Avenue Malls between 54th and 86th Streets through our Park Avenue Malls Planting Project. The Fund also manages the annual Park Avenue Tree Lighting. Both programs are made possible solely by annual contributions made to The Fund for Park Avenue. The Fund’s Sculpture Advisory Committee works closely with NYC Parks’ Art in the Parks Program to present a variety of temporary sculpture exhibitions on the Park Avenue Malls.
